With age, a loss of volume in the mucosa occurs. Lips become dehydrated and thinner, making the face look older and sterner. Moreover, lips are highly vascular mobile structures and the frequent changes in temperature and mechanical constraints increase the deterioration of the hyaluronic acid (HA) in the mucosa.
MACDERMOL® LIPS is a dermal filler manufactured with a HA with the highest level of purity available in the industry today and with a safe and effective cross-linking system.

MACDERMOL® LIPS acts mechanically as an implant, and biologically by increasing the synthesis of new HA and collagen. This dual effect makes it possible to create a volume that immediately and durably augments the lips.

MACDERMOL® LIPS is cross-linked through a proprietary technology forming physical and chemical bonds. It provides a high resistance to enzymatic, oxidative, thermal and mechanical degradations while keeping the natural properties of the HA.
Protected from structural damages thanks to an optimized sterilization process, the HA in MACDERMOL® LIPS has an optimal average size in terms of beneficial effects on the extracellular matrix.
